Natalie Benson is a former Assistant Federal Defender from the District of Utah. She has worked extensively in the Federal Courts as a litigator and trial lawyer, handling a wide variety of cases from firearms and drug distribution to terroristic threats and homicide. She specialized in representation of clients in the Federal treatment courts, including Drug Court and Veterans Court. After nearly fifteen years of public service, she joined Parkinson Benson Potter to assist the public in other meaningful ways.
Apart from her work in the Federal Defender Office, Ms. Benson has experience in immigration law, state criminal defense, and worked as a law clerk for a Federal Magistrate Judge in the District of Hawaii. She now focuses on wildfire litigation and personal injury and loss. Her passion for the law comes from the belief that every problem has a solution, and she works tirelessly to ensure that those who have been wronged can be made whole.
When she is not practicing law, Ms. Benson enjoys spending time with her family. Her husband is a firefighter and paramedic in Utah, and together they have four children and two dogs. They love the outdoors, camping, hiking, water sports, and traveling.
Ms. Benson graduated with her J.D. from the S. J. Quinney College of Law, University of Utah.
