Sutter Rogers lives in the town of Greenville, CA, where she grew up third generation on her family’s children’s summer camp, Coppercreek Camp. She spent her childhood backpacking in the Sierras, competing in equestrian events, and fell in love with traveling internationally during high school. Between Sutter’s time spent abroad and growing up in a rural community, she developed a passion for community health and social services. Sutter graduated from the University of California, Davis, in 2013 with a B.S. in Community Development.
In 2014, Sutter was pulled back to her hometown to take over Coppercreek Camp. She and her husband, Taylor, now own and operate the summer camp.
Since the Dixie Fire in 2021 severely damaged the camp, Sutter began working with Parkinson Benson Potter to help other fire victims with their claims. She enjoys helping her community members rebuild their lives and move forward after the devastating wildfire.
When Sutter is not working, she fills her time wrangling her two children, training horses, teaching riding lessons, and working with Taylor to rebuild their summer camp.
